By downloading, installing, or using LedgerPad ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
LedgerPad is a professional invoicing, customer management, inventory tracking, expenses and VAT record-keeping application for iOS. The App is provided by BTLTECH LTD.
LedgerPad is free to download. LedgerPad Unlock is a one-time, non-renewing in-app purchase that unlocks every feature of the App. It is not a subscription: it does not renew and you will not be charged again for it.
The price is shown in the App Store before you buy. We may change the price for future purchases, for example at the end of a launch offer; this does not affect a purchase you have already made.
Purchases are made and billed through your Apple ID account, subject to Apple's terms. To restore LedgerPad Unlock on another device or after reinstalling, use Restore Purchases in the App while signed in with the same Apple ID.
Every new user receives a 14-day free trial of all features. No payment details are required, and nothing is charged when the trial ends: features beyond the free tier are locked again, and your data is kept.
The free tier allows limited use: up to 5 invoices or receipts per month, 5 customers, and 20 inventory items. PDFs generated on the free tier carry a short “Created with LedgerPad” line. These limits may change at our discretion.
Filing VAT returns and Income Tax updates to HMRC from the App is not yet available. The App keeps VAT records and reports; you are solely responsible for the accuracy of any return you file using them. BTLTECH LTD is not a tax adviser and does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice. Consult a qualified professional for tax matters.
Card payment features use Zettle by PayPal. Your use of Zettle is subject to PayPal's terms of service. Online payment links use Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms. BTLTECH LTD does not process or store card payment details.
You are responsible for:
Your data is stored locally on your device. In the version currently on the App Store it is also stored in your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit framework while your device is signed in to iCloud, with no in-app way to switch that off; the next release adds one. We do not access, sell, or share your business data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
LedgerPad, its design, code, and content are owned by BTLTECH LTD. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. BTLTECH LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to financial losses, incorrect VAT submissions, or data loss.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
